A new job opportunity to become a part of our customer support team.

An opportunity has arisen to join our expanding team based in Leicester, assisting customers in our busy coach office both face to face and by telephone and email, advising customers and taking coach hire bookings. The role would suit someone able to take ownership of a wide range of responsibilities, who can use their own initiative and work as part of our team.
Established in 1982, Ausden Clark operates a fleet of over forty vehicles across Leicestershire and the UK.

The Role

This is a demanding role which requires excellent time management and attention to detail is essential. The ideal candidate should be friendly with an excellent telephone manner and be experienced in customer service, administration duties and Microsoft Office products. Travel industry experience and good geographical knowledge of the UK is preferred but not essential. This is a full-time position, 35 hours per week over 4 days, Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00 and could include Saturdays on a rota basis. Part-time hours will be considered for the successful applicant.

  • Competitive Salary £18,200 – £21,840 based on experience

Specifically you will:

  • Advise customers on coach hire enquiries and process coach hire bookings.
  • Use both listening and questioning skills to recommend solutions to customers’ travel needs.
  • Liaise with the operations department and coach drivers with regard to coach hire bookings.
  • Work to tight deadlines at extremely busy times of the year.
  • Communicate both externally with customers, and internally with all departments.
  • Problem-solving and the ability to react quickly to situations that may arise.
  • Work under pressure and multitask.
